Privacy Policy

Chamberzu is operated by Intellizu LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we do with personal information. It covers three different groups of people, and which parts apply to you depends on which one you are:

Chamber customers — the chamber staff who hold a Chamberzu account.
Chamber members — the businesses and individuals whose information a chamber stores in Chamberzu. For this data we are a processor: the chamber decides what is collected and why, and we act on their instructions.
Website visitors — anyone reading chamberzu.com.

Information we collect

From chamber customers

Information you give us directly when you create an account, request a demo, or contact us: name, work email, phone number, chamber name, role, and billing details. We also record account activity — sign-ins, configuration changes, and actions taken in the platform — for security and audit purposes.

From chamber members, on a chamber’s behalf

When a chamber uses Chamberzu, it stores information about its member businesses and their representatives: business name, contact names and roles, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, membership tier and dues history, event registrations, and directory profile content.

We process this information only to provide the service to the chamber. We do not sell it, we do not use it to market to members, and we do not use it to train models. If you are a chamber member and want your information corrected or removed, contact your chamber first — they control the record. We will support them in acting on your request.

From website visitors

Basic request data (IP address, user agent, referring page) is logged by our hosting and CDN providers for security and aggregate traffic analysis. If you submit the contact or demo form, we receive what you typed into it.

Payment information

Card and bank details are collected directly by Stripe and exchanged for a token. Full card numbers and security codes never reach Chamberzu’s servers and are never stored by us. We retain the token, the card brand, and the last four digits so that invoices can be matched to payments.

How we use information

To provide, operate, and secure the platform.
To process payments and issue invoices and receipts.
To send transactional email — invoices, renewal notices, event confirmations, security notices, and service announcements.
To respond to support requests and sales enquiries.
To improve the product, using aggregate usage patterns rather than the contents of any chamber’s member records.
To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and analytics

This marketing website is a static site and does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The Chamberzu application sets a session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in; it cannot be disabled without making the application unusable.

Where we use analytics, it is limited to aggregate traffic measurement. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not run third-party ad pixels on this site.

Service providers

We rely on a short list of providers to run the service. Each is bound by contract to protect data processed on our behalf:

Amazon Web Services — hosting, storage, backups, and transactional email via SES (United States).
Stripe — payment processing.

We will provide the current subprocessor list, and reasonable notice of material changes to it, on request from any customer.

Where data is held

Chamberzu data is hosted in the United States. If your chamber has a specific data-residency requirement, raise it with us before you sign — we would rather tell you no in advance than discover it later.

Retention

Customer account data is retained for the life of the account.
Chamber member data is retained as long as the chamber’s account is active, because the chamber decides its own retention.
After cancellation, we provide a full export and delete customer data within 90 days, backups included, or sooner on request.
Financial records may be retained longer where tax and accounting law requires it.
Support correspondence is retained for two years.

Security

All traffic is served over TLS. Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Access to production data is restricted to staff with an operational need, requires multi-factor authentication, and is logged. Full detail is on our security page.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you directly with what happened, what was affected, and what we are doing about it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing.

Chamber customers can exercise most of these directly in the product, or by emailing us.
Chamber members should contact their chamber, which controls the record. We will help the chamber respond.

Email privacy@chamberzu.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you for a reasonable request and we will not discriminate against you for making one.

Data processing agreement

We will sign a data processing agreement with any customer who needs one. Because chambers do not handle protected health information in Chamberzu, a business associate agreement is not applicable.

Children

Chamberzu is business software and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect, and the “last updated” date above will change. Prior versions are available on request.
